As you store more and more data in the Daily Tracker, you may become concerned about losing it. After all, you may lose your iPhone, it may break or rarely you may need to reset it to the factory settings. To prevent accidental data loss, do backup your data regularly.
With Google Docs integration, you can upload everything you have stored in the Daily Tracker as one file to Google Docs and restore it at any time in the future. Backup & Restore is fast and easy. On the main screen, tap on the info button in the lower right corner and navigate to the Settings -> Data Transfer page, sign-in to Google Docs and use the on-screen instructions for Backup & Restore.
If you don’t have a Google Docs account, you can create it by visiting: Google Docs.
Alternatively, if you do not want to use Google Docs, you can backup your data to your desktop computer with the iTunes Backup functionality. For more information, please refer to Apple Support page.
Note however that Google Docs backup is more convenient because you can have multiple backup files and it’s easy to create a backup anywhere you go, even if you do not connect your iPhone to your desktop computer very often.
Your Google Docs credentials are stored and exchanged securely using approved Google authentication service.
