Version 5.0

Designed for iPhone 4 Retina Display

If you have iPhone 4, you’ve definitely noticed the gorgeous Retina Display, the highest resolution screen ever on a phone. So high in fact, that individual pixels are no longer discernible to a human eye. Daily Tracker v5.0 has been redesigned to include high resolution graphics and take full advantage of the Retina Display. You’ll notice the difference practically everywhere – from application icon, buttons, crisp images, graphs to incredibly clear fonts. A pure joy to use.

iOS 4 Multitasking

Now when you press the iPhone’s Home button, Daily Tracker will continue running in the background. The next time you want to use it, it will launch instantaneously. You can start synchronizing your documents or begin data backup and go back to your email, continue browsing the web or listen to your favorite Pandora stations. Daily Tracker is ultra light-weight and will never slow down your phone. You’ll never notice it’s running, but will definitely enjoy how quickly it comes up the next time you want to use it.

VoiceOver™ available in 7 languages

VoiceOver™, now a standard screen reader on iPhone 4 and 3GS is a revolutionary accessibility feature for those with impaired vision. It’s the world’s first gesture-based screen reader, which allows you to control iPhone applications using simple gestures that let you physically interact with items on screen. Daily Tracker v5.0 is fully integrated with VoiceOver™, making it a perfect companion for those who can’t see the screen very well or not at all. You can even slowly run your finger through summary graphs and your daily entries will be read to you out loud in one of the 7 supported languages. To learn more about VoiceOver, visit Apple website.

Note: Make sure to quit Daily Tracker before enabling VoiceOver or do restart your phone after you’ve turned VoiceOver ON.

Reminders

Now you can set reminders on your To-Do items. Simply navigate to your note and tap on the Reminder button at the bottom left corner.

List “Group By Day” option

When organizing your week, it’s always nice to see what needs to be done in the days to come and move things around if necessary. The “Group By Day” sort option allows you to do exactly that. To enable it, navigate to your list and tap the sort button at the bottom right corner. Once enabled, you can edit the list and move things around by dragging items up and down (while holding on the three-lined button on the right). Organizing your week has never been easier.

Theme options

In Daily Tracker v5.0, you can choose from 11 different application themes, switch between square or round color tabs or design a custom theme. Navigate to the main screen, tap the info button in the lower right corner and select Application Theme option to see all the possibilities.

Copy, Move & Delete options

Now you can easily Copy, Move or Delete multiple list items. Tap the Edit button in the lower left corner and select the items by tapping on the round selection markers.

Photo Slideshow

If you have multiple photos attached to your note, you can now see them all in a slideshow. As you swipe left and right, everything except for the photos fades out. Once you are done, tap the screen to bring back all the controls. When adding new photos, you can now choose from either existing picture library or snap a photo with your camera, without leaving Daily Tracker. You’ll also notice that pictures are bigger and higher quality than before.

Improved Search

Now the instant search will match keywords that occur anywhere in the text (not just at the beginning of a word). For example, if you have a word “aircraft” somewhere in your notes, you’ll find the note even if you just start typing “craft” in the search field.

Notice that the results include how many days has it been since you made an entry. This can be very useful in case you’d like to find out when was your last haircut, doctor appointment and so forth. The powerful search will instantly find results both in your notes as well as activities. In short, finding anything you’ve ever written in the Daily Tracker is now just a few taps away. You can also hide the keyboard if you flick the table.

New Map Attachment Options

When adding maps to your notes, you can now choose from either a Map, Satellite or Hybrid views. To add a map, voice memo or photo, navigate to a note of your choice and tap the Command button at the top right corner.
